koldgold, you are blessed with many beautiful birds. And your photos do them justice. The Sea Eagle is most impressive.

Yawl are absolutely hitting it out if the park, great photos. Some fine birds and blooms down under thanks for sharing.
These ole boys strutted around my back yard for about 3 hrs. Monday afternoon. First time they ever stay that long.

Saw a story online last night of a large flock of Bald Eagles somewhere in Minnesota (I think)
One picture, literally dozens of eagles sitting over the Mississippi River !
A nearby power plant's recycled water gets dumped in the river,
keeping it from freezing in that spot, providing a open buffet.
EDIT >>> I found the story ... LINK <><><> https://www.fox9.com/news/minnesota-pho ... -wing-minn

A Pelican’s beak can hold more then his belly can, and I don’t know why it can… Ken

I love to watch pelicans, they are so graceful in flight and then when they dive it looks like they just come disjointed.

I just missed getting a decent shot of a Pileated while I was out for a chilly walk this morning. Instead, I settled for this macabre silhouette.

The soaring bird is definitely a vulture, black or turkey I don't know. But the upward angle of the wings marks the vulture.

Cool Scott. A Mississippi Kite is the only one I have ever seen in my neck of the plains.

Great to see that they are back! I have not seen either a Mississippi or a Swallowtail so far this spring.
