Just received this one.
I have been wanting a sheepsfoot for a while and this one caught my attention because of the handle, black horn instead of wood.
Also my first French folder.
Pretty sharp blade out of the box and feels good in hand.
I will see how it passes the test of time ::tu::
Great looking knife. What brand is it ?

USPS was late getting to my place today, but they did bring this Camillus 1. More photos will be in the Camillus forum not long after I bang out this post.

Thanks Dan in MI, thanks TPK, thanks Madmarco, and Treefarmer. Appreciate it big time, but of course Jeff deserves all the kudos and compliments really. He's the man and the mechanic who made it all possible. He's the Schrade master to me. Thanks again all who commented, and Jeff too.

Those are nice Iman. Love that one with the amber bone.

I picked up this Marbles made in Germany pearl Congress. I thought I already had one of these and would sell this one, but I don’t have this one so it’s staying in my collection for now.
Jim Parker used the Marbles brand without permission at this time and had these made alongside his Bulldog branded knives. He also had knives made in Japan with the Marbles brand at that time. All these German made Marbles have a feel and look like Bulldog knives. This one has some flawless MOP on it. The pile side pearl has some ripples in it that I haven’t seen before, looks great.

Thanks SSK, appreciate it. Jeffinn bones are sweet I must say. And great looking Marbles, I like the look of the ripple. Do you know how old that would be? Beautiful.

I am not certain, but the time frame for most of the illegal Marbles was around 1990, I think it was going on for a few years before and few years after 1990. I tried to find where Parker was served a cease and desist order but I can’t find it anywhere. I bet someone on here would know for sure.

Just picked up this clean Camillus Bartenders Trapper. I don’t care that much for trapper patterns as a general rule, but I love beer! This will be my poker night knife. :)

As seen in my avatar, I have a penchant for LARGE knives. This Cold Steel Holdout arrived today and is pretty much the last of a group of large folders I've been following, and although I was expecting BIG, this monster goes well beyond that. It has a 6" S35VN blade along with a 7 1/2" G-10 handle for an open length of 13 1/2". It's a mid-lockback and has a dual-stud for ambie 1-hand opening, but one would need awfully long thumbs in order to accomplish this in 1 motion, whereas starting the blade out with the stud and then performing a strong flick of the wrist is far more successful. These C/S knives are built to be used and abused, and this one is no exception! 8)

Mark, Willie, and Marc, y'all have some good stuff there.

Here's my new one, which USPS decided to get to me a day behind schedule. It is, of course, a Schrade 100th Anniversary 34OT. Though it's not perfect, it's pretty dang nice...and unlike my other 100th Anniversary 34OT, it wasn't full of pocket lint! The other 100th Anniversary 34OT is now a carrier.
