Thanks Dan, doglegg, appreciate it. Man did they make some smooth, tight, sweet knives back then at Schrade. This one has been used hard and still tight, no wobble, excellent snap open and closed. Love the old Schrade's. Thanks again gents.

Galvanic, what a gorgeous group of knives. Loooooooooooooooooooooove the jigging and the bone color. That is sweet. The patterns cool too. That Barlow with the spear is my kind of knife. Excellent in every way. Wow is all I can say. Hope you post it in the Barlow thread. And the way the people doing the hafting didn't grind all the cool jigging away on the ends, or clear out to the pins. Well done, Schrade did it right back then. What a fine group and thanks for posting. I could look them over for hours. Man it's sad that company isn't still making knives like these. Killer era of knives. Hats off to the Schrade's of yesteryear.

That is some line up of the kind. I always stop and check out the peach seed whenever I surf knives. You have some of the sweetest of the kind. Wow my friend that is beautiful. Thanks for the additional pics. I looooooooooooooooooooooooove seeing that kind. That's the kind that makes you stop and stare, instead of just scroll past. Makes me marvel and lust after because it's a rare beauty, a lost art of the best jigging design around IMHO. I mean nobody, not even custom makers are doing jigging like that anymore. And I suppose with the right machine and jigging tool it could be done today. There's jigging from tons of makers but nothing like that. So you have some of the top end of the artform at it's best there. I never see bone like that being made anywhere else. So cool what they did back then, such good craftsmanship and manufacturing quality. And love seeing it again, thanks. ::tu:: ::tu::

Hate using the word rare but I picked up a candle end 3 1/2" Schrade Cut Co Mother Of Pearl jack the other day that I think qualifies as rare. I don't recall seeing many regular jacks made by Schrade in MOP, mainly seemed to be used on small gentlemans knives. Happen to have the same pattern in pick bone with a sheepsfoot blade and arched tang stamp.

Wow, that is beautiful!
Many knives in MOP haven't survived, as it is fragile material. That one is fiery, flawless, and as pretty as I have ever seen!

Found this one under the radar in the bay. The snap and action is very sweet and smooth, and zero, I mean zero movement or blade wobble or loose anything. Amazing for such and old beauty. The Cut Co era was sweet. I cannot believe how well this has and still does perform for somewhere between 80 and 100 yrs old. That's when your know you're holding a quality piece that has longevity and beauty and function still after near a century. Hats off to Mr. Schrade and the people working for them in that day.

Yeah those inky smudges on the pile side blades are like a beacon light drawing a vintage knife collector into the flame😵‍💫🤔. Here are three Schrade Cuts I found today at the Las Vegas Arms Show. The two jigged bone folders (Whittler and Boys knife) are from the Mark Nagel collection.

Never heard of Mark, but he had some sweeties. Glad you came away with them. The bones are excellent. Congrats.
