I sure do! A good Stockman with clip, sheepsfoot, and spey blades is very versatile, and I like the Old Timer design. Cool that your nephews got them as their first knives!

Sweet stag on all those Q. Love that Hen & Rooster.

New 83 LB in Bocote wood. Great grain and warm texture/feel. Tightest lock up on a LB from GEC I've ever had too. Maybe they have it figured out by now. All my others wobbled a bit. This one is pretty tight.

Received a lot of 7 knives that needed a little TLC. They averaged out to $3 per knife. Here are a couple I cleaned up so far and thought would make a decent couple of EDC's. First is a Camillus 707 Copperhead double lockback with yellow delrin handles and Yellow Jacket blade etch. Needed cleaning, the secondary blade was broken and looks like they removed the serrated edge. Cleaned it up, re-profiled the blade and used a dremel diamond disk to put in a nail pull. Blades are tight with good snap, and no wobble. Shame about the secondary.

The next one I know nothing about other than it's a Mariners Knife with Marlin Spike made by G & C CO. Italy. Blade is tight with no wobble and Gator Snap, and the Marlin Spike locks up tight. The handles are a laminate similar to Micarta and was in rough shape. I've sanded the handles and cleaned the knife. The liner is a thick brass, blade and marlin spike are stainless.

Here are two knives that came in the mail recently, one is a Camillus 72 the other a Western 658. Both have full blades, original factory edges but both have carbon spotting and discoloration. :( I thought the knives looked full and was surprised to find them both to be unsharpened. The 72 is Delrin and the Western is bone. Walk and talk is what we expect from a new knife. Probably make great trading material.

The last 4 or 5 knives I have dipped out of the shallow end of the bay have been in extra nice condition, except for the discoloration on the carbon blades.

Great finds there treefarmer. You can't go wrong finding a good 72. One of my favorite patterns for sure. Really nice looking western. I'ver never had much luck finding one that hasn't been used heavily. Both knives in really great shape. Ya done good. ::tu:: ::tu::

Is the 658 Western in-house, or was it made when Camillus owned Western?

Great finds!
