Old Steam is so cool.
Thought I heard Dollywood was going out of business. Know the theme parks are having issues. If it did go out of business, hopefully someone will pick up the equipment.

Yeah, I greatly doubt Dollywood is going out of business. They have a bunch of construction going on there.

Some videos from our trip to the Northern Central Railway in New Freedom, PA. Our walk to the historic Howard Tunnel, which they claim is the second oldest operational tunnel in the US.

And our old buddy, Conductor Bill, who used to have these U.P. and SP coaches on the Western Maryland Scenic.

Catching the Cowboy Days excursion while we were biking from Railroad, PA, to the New Freedom Station.

Happy railroading!

Thanks, cudgee! It took a couple tries to get it right because Shorts have a different address than the regular YouTube videos. But I figured it out. 😉👍

No trains, but I saw these old streetlights this morning en route to Dunkin' in Cumberland. Not sure if they still work.

NICE historical picture, Ike. ::tu:: ::tu::
The partial building that is on the left is also advertising SIMMONS/KEEN KUTTER.
Maybe a picture of both, complete buildings, exists somewhere.
This might be a fun search.

I have spent a lot of time searching for pics of Simmons and Shapleigh buildings, not much luck. I think both of the buildings in this picture may be warehouses near the RR tracks, not far from the riverfront. Simmons had a large retail store in downtown StL which did not resemble either of the buildings shown. Please post anything you come with.
