If you have very many visits from this gang your bill for birdseed is going to soar.

Finally, it had the decency to snow here, resulting in good feeder activity. There wasn't a great deal of variety of species, but had a couple of Purple Finches and some Tree Sparrows for the first time this Winter. One of the Tree Sparrows kept facing off with a Cardinal and actually "stole" seeds from the beak of the Cardinal.

Nah, not really, but it would be if a Pileated Woodpecker showed up someday!

Thanks for the comments, I was given a kaleidescope of subject matter with the blowing snow and actively feeding birds, all I had to do was record it.
Now, I will sit back and wait for that guy in Tennessee to post more Pileated pics.
Garry, it is funny how the birds vary from year to year. Finches were a dime a dozen last year, hardly see them this Winter. I haven't seen a Red Breasted Nuthatch all Winter, and a lot less of the White Breasted.

Great pictures Ike! ::tu:: That's a real good variety of birds there. ::nod:: I have to say, I really like that red feeder you have. Reminds me of a Caboos for some reason. Even though they don't normally have that many windows. ::shrug:: Did you make it? ::shrug::

So, it reminds you of a train, and you ask...did I build it? If I would have built it, it would remind you of a train wreck!

Nice bunch of Turkeys, Homer.

Ike, that is a great selection of birds at and under your feeder. Cardinals can really add a splash of color to winter garden.

No snow here, but this weather system is making the birds come to the feeder in good numbers.

Thanks for the encouragement, Doglegg, TPK, QS, and Ike. It is a beautiful morning here, I guess I should get the camera and see what is around.

I haven't had a Possum lately, last Winter I was plagued with Skunks.

Great Pileated pic, I see them frequently, but never in my yard or that close. Thanks!

Continue to enjoy your photos. I have seen a Piliated just one time and that was here on the property from a distance. From the archives, my memorable day.
