Just when I think I surely must have found and acquired one example of every pattern Queen ever released with ACSB handle scales I stumble across yet another one that I don’t have. This #49 Large Stockman is the latest one, but will it be the last one? I guess only time will tell. The never ending hunt continues.

This Canal Street Trapper is the latest (and likely the last and final) addition to my ACSB collection:

New ACSB acquisitions have really slowed down. At a certain point I guess that's to be expected, though. After snapping up every pattern I could find, naturally there will be fewer uncollected patterns remaining to be collected. Fortunately, there are other brands, besides Queen, that made (or had Queen make for them) versions of their patterns with ACSB. In fact, my ACSB collection has knives marked Queen, Schatt & Morgan, Northwoods, Moki, Colonel Coon, Canal Street, Rigid, Remington, GEC, Case (mod) and Albers (custom).

(I forgot to take my Rigid Wildcat Driller out of my wall display case for the ACSB group photo) ::doh::

Absolutely stunning collection, ~Q~!

Now let's talk about this quote, (and likely the last and final). You do know that this is totally unreasonable and unattainable!
I'm going to try and forget you said this, and go looking for more, there has to be another one that I NEED! I know you do too!

MONKEY TIME!!

What they said!!! ::poke::

Beautiful Canal Street addition to your Amazing collection, Q! ::tu::
I do feel like you may have inadvertently left another one out, or I may just be overlooking the Sharp Fans ACSB Wharncliffe Trapper, that I'm almost positive you have or had at some point. ::hmm::

In the song, I believe the Monkey is the one getting shocked, but if you keep poking him with that stick, Tony, it's entirely likely The Monkey will turn the tables and shock you! :shock: And trust me, getting shocked by The Monkey ain't no fun a'tall (ask me how I know) :lol:

Kerry, your words are nothing short of prophetic.....as it so happens, shortly after I declared that CS Trapper would be the last and final addition to my ACSB collection, I "accidentally" stumbled upon another ACSB knife I don't have that The Monkey is furiously demanding I buy ::facepalm:: If the seller weren't asking way too much for it and unwilling to negotiate (I tried), it would already be on its way to HI ::nod:: The Monkey's power is greater than we mere mortals can withstand; resistance is futile ::dang::

It wasn't meant to be. There will be other Monkey tamers... :wink:

Mahalo all for the kind comments and encouragement 🤙

Since the Rigid Wildcat Driller got left out of the ACSB Family Group Photo, the Monkey insisted I carry it on my Sunday stroll this morning to assuage any possible hurt feelings; because the last thing we want is a knife with hurt feelings. Say what you will about The Monkey, but he is kind to his knives and sensitive to their feelings 🐵🫶🔪
