I talked myself out of that Boker Magnum. If I buy any more knives my wife may use one on me. And she doesn't know about the last two!

The last two were a Moki from SSK and a Benchmade.

My latest Boker, this pattern 93 single blade. I'm wondering what Boker called this pattern, a slimline trapper or maybe a toothpick? Bone handled, 4 and 1/8" OAL and still has the Boker shield. Picked it up for a fiver at the flea market last weekend.

O.C. you made a heck of a buy on that one. I'd call it a slimeline trapper. I've heard some refer to that pattern as a "farmer's jack". But I'm not sure that's a correct application of the term. At any rate, you've got yourself a very nice knife at a bargain price. Congrats! ::tu::

Just took delivery of this Boker Solingen Barlow today. I really like the contrast between the iron wood and copper bolsters and liners.

Thanks guys. I get more positive comments when I show people that copper Barlow than any other I have. It's becoming my favorite EDC.

Recently, this BOKER U.S.A. pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also got added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a BOKER 9023, two blades (the secondary blade is broken), two tang stamps, 3 1/16" closed, two springs, pocket knife. The shield has the tree logo. The main blade front tang stamp says "BOKER (over) U.S.A." The main blade back tang stamp says "9023" with the tree logo. The main blade has NO half stop. But, it does have a VERY GOOD opening and closing snap. There is still enough of the blade pull remaining on the broken secondary blade to open it. There is enough of the blade left to still be useful. Even with the broken secondary blade, this pocket knife is still in GOOD condition. It did need some very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Is it a real Boker? It still has its shield! Actually it is a very knice knife. I bet it's about to make new pocket friends.

This one should be of interest to you auto guys, maybe even non-auto guys, cuz it's way cool!

Boker Plus 0570 Car Dogleg 8 1/4" BO/BC auto, with D2 drop-point blade, 1/8" SS liners, integrated pocket-clip that can be removed by removing the rear screw-secured carbon fiber cover, but will leave two 1/8" straight openings on the cover when you reinstall it, so I left it on since it's totally non-intrusive, black Titanium bolsters, carbon fiber covers hence the "Car" in the title, Titanium "wire" pocket-clip, and what is new to me a unique opening/closing system.

When looking at this knife closed it appears to be an ordinary folding knife with a stud that sits cleanly inside a cut-out on the front cover, but, when you position your thumb beside it to deploy the blade and then give it the slightest of nudges, the blade flies out with authority ALMOST to lock-up, but not all the way perhaps 1/4" short of lock-up. Then, when you withdraw your thumb away from the stud completely the stud goes back into the cut-out and the blade finishes lock-up by itself. To un-lock the blade for closing, you must push on the stud slightly and it releases, similar to a swivel-bolster release. I originally thought this system was done on purpose by Boker for whatever reason, but as I was getting some "click therapy" I did an experiment. Instead of a gentle nudge on the stud for opening I applied some force, similar to flipping a coin in a coin-toss, and the blade flew out even faster and stronger all the way to full lock-up. So, rather than this function being a Boker mystery feature, I believe it has to do with learning your knife and how to operate it correctly. It is pretty cool though watching the blade and stud move independently without any input from you!

The knife is heavy perhaps 5 or 6 oz.'s, which is likely due to the SS liners, and comes treacherously sharp outta the box.
The action is clean, smooth, hard, and fast and feels great in your hand.
The fit and finish is 2nd to none.
I can see this automatic system becoming the norm on modern auto knives since it's so effective.
10 for 10, IMO, although, not inexpensive!

Thanks Floyd! Odd isn't it. It's old enough the shield is pinned.

Very interesting knife ::tu:: . But you didn't quite correctly indicate its model. This has the model number 01BO477. The number 0570 is probably the serial number of this knife. Boker serializes the first thousand of each model.

Much thanks, Vit, that information wasn't available with the knife, and I did think 0570 was the model number.
Now if anyone asks I'll have the correct answer. ::tu::

I was going to say, "nice slimline trapper it reminds me of mine", and then post a pic. Then I discovered the only pic I have is from the GPK website when I purchased it so that will have to do until I get back in town.

M&M, I'm posting my latest Boker and here I see your Boker Plus 0570 Car Dogleg post again .... and it looks even sweeter seeing it again  🥰😍

My new Boker is a 4 blade Congress, some staining on the blades, but I'm going to try and clean that up as much as possible.

My latest Boker Solingen arrived this week. Slimline single blade trapper. Desert ironwood scales, 440C blades steel. Razor sharp. Smooth but very stiff action. Looks like Boker changed their packaging for some reason.
