I can't say that I have ever seen an original Lackawanna in bone or any thing else besides Celluliod. As I stated, I was surprised to find the one i have. Everyone I have seen is a picture handled knife that is thinking of Gasing out. I have an ART knife Co. "related to lackawanna" in Picture handle as well. My EUREKA Cutlery is BONE, but much older. Good question.

I have a pearl example in Mint condition too. I have verified along with the S&M/Queen cutlery master David Clark that it seems fairly certain that S&M made these for Coleman. The unanswered question is "WHO is Coleman" a Coleman did work for S&M, but we aren't sure if that is the case. I did find a Coleman Hardware in Phila about the same time frame, but again nothing positive to go on. These are few and far between. VERY NICE. Check out the Trading section of the AAPK. I have two Tidioute's available.

Here are two Coleman folders that I have picked up over the years. Yes, they are hard to find. I will be at the Ohio Show this month and Queen Show in July. If anyone is interested is seeing these knives I can bring them along, just let me know.. I will have display tables at both shows.

I also have a Queen City gunstock that looks like the same pattern as the Coleman. 3” long. Possibly rehandled.

I have this Queen City also that is very close in pattern. Actually, the frame is almost identical....

What a great half moon shield. Queen City did some very unusual things during the 1930's using the Schatt & Morgan patterns but often adding a different touch. Look at the star shield on the dogleg jack. I also have a half moon shield in this Washington Cutlery, Nashville - fun stuff.

Those are all AWESOME knives! I posted this S & M a few pages back. I think it would be a match for the pearl one you have?

Here is a Queen with the first crown stamping on it. This is for the Elks Lodge and #264 is Titusville PA. NEAT don't cha think?

Another one that my friend is moving due to $$$$ needs, but I thought yall might like to see it first.

I beleive it is pattern #4 in imatation pearl.

That is a nice one Rig. It is hard to find any W.R. knives that are not used up, let alone a Winterbottom one.
