I don't know, the stars must have lined up correctly the last week, I just kinda lucked up on them. I guess the old saying is true, even a blind hog finds an acorn occasionally.

All in that pile look good! What is the wooden handled knife, can't see enough of the handle to read it.

Philip, that’s a Camillus as well. It is wood handle as you said ,and is a company advertisement type knife. Not sure where it’s at right now, think it’s unused as well ,but long line if I can remember right.

Received this one Yesterday,

A Camillus 4 line Tip Bolster 3-1/16" , 2 blade swell end jack. Black composite handles, Brass outer tip bolster liners with brass center liner. Strong snap on both blades with strong positive half stop on both blades. Blades do have some spots and very slight pitting.

It is one of the Camillus "Woodcraft" series, 881-887. The 2 blade jack is the 882 i believe. There were 2 releases of this series. Original one has pinned on handles. Second release a few years later has glued on handles. First release is considered to be the better knife.
I used to have a complete set of both releases. 882 & 883 are Great knives.

On the contrary. At first there were without pins and with "Sword Brand" tang stamp, then with pins and a standard tang stamp.

Today I add this pocket knife to my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is ONE of my HOLY GRAIL pocket knives. It is a 1949 CAMILLUS, single blade, 3 tool, brass liners, pocket knife. It is in EXCELLENT condition and didn't require any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Well i was told pinned handles came first by one of the 'Camillus guys', possibly Mr. Gibbs. But whichever came first, pinned handles make for a more interesting knife than glue on handles
