John, some of your photos feature nice red knives. This always reminds me of reading how photographers for National Geographic regularly carried several thin red scarfs. When they were photographing anywhere in the word, especially crowd scenes, they would ask someone wear the red scarf simply to add color to the scene. Then too in the black and white film Schindler's List there was just one element filmed in color: the red coat worn by a little girl soon to be taken by the Nazis. [Stray thoughts on a Saturday afternoon.]

Very neat John. I'm thinking one of those trail cameras might be interesting for seeing what goes on around here at night. Tho there were not many tracks in the snow this winter.

Ah dang it, I thought maple at first glance then guessed cherry.

Its very nice, always something special about hand made wood items. I think its the warmth of wood, the beauty of wood grain and the time spent working on them and getting away from the fast pace of other things in life for a moment.

Very well said my knife friend. It took hours.....I felt like an Indian working on a project that required my time and focus, not my hurried life.
