Yes it's a full etch with some stains, just didn't show up very well.

I don't know Lyle but look at them worn away rat tail bolsters! :shock: And that jiggin is amazing how they did the crisscross pattern in the bone. ::tu:: ::tu::

Here is a very nice Case Tested 6265 SAB in Winter Bottom bone. all original and very hard to find. I no longer own it but it went to a very good home.

Big Knives with Big Bone handles.

The first Case Tested is a rare version 65 pattern with a very thin frame.

The New York Knife 186 pattern is another very hard to find knife.

It is interesting that the big Case tested 6172 clasp knife is actually stamped on the reverse tang "TESTED" and below that "6272". 6272 being incorrect as the first 2 in the number would designate it as being a 2 bladed knife. The stamping is a factory error. The knife is 100% correct.
