We've had the opposite problem here, Monk! Water levels have been dropping since late May, no rain at all. There's no cover along the shore lines. Trolling deep water lures along the bluffs and catfishing at night, has been about it this summer. Tough year so far, but maybe fall will see a turn around. Fishin' season ain't over yet!!

So I was out walking in the woods this morning, and came across this tree that was chewed up pretty good by a beaver, so of course I thought it would be a good opportunity to stick a knife in there and take a pic...then I remembered that I had visited that same location back in January and had snapped some pics then when the damage was fresh. Anyway, thought I'd post them up here, just for fun... (first and last pics are the same tree!)

Thanks Tim and Scott
My wife recently put those together for me to hang in my home office. It sure doesn't help me stay on task instead of planning a fishing trip. It's starting to cool off and I can hear 'em chasing bait fish in my sleep

You gotta sing to 'em Brian.....
Here bassy, bassy. Here bassy, bassy.

I know that tune well Scott.
When worst comes to worst and the day is getting long it changes to "here fishy, fishy, fishy". After seeing your pics of that mud bass (carp), i think you''ve been known to sing that tune as well. Anything that'll pull your string is better than getting skunked any day

Not to mention those nice pics of your bucket mouths.

Here are a couple more fishing pics from my family.
A 32 lb Salmon I caught many years ago. (It got pretty dark before we got it home).
My oldest grandson & youngest daughter (they are only about 2 years apart), catching a few small smallmouths on the Umpqua River.
My oldest granddaughter and her parents fishing in the Umpqua River on my dad's place.
My granddaughter is now in high school!
Another of my grandsons and a smallmouth bass caught on the Willamette River.
My youngest son and a grandson on a fishing trip on the Willamette River.
We are a family that likes to fish!

Nice Doe OH!
Big Game hunting is in full swing here in Nevada. I didn't draw any tags this year. I put in for Elk, Mule Dear and Antelope. My son drew and filled 2 tags, one for Antelope and one for Mule Dear.
Here is his Mulie he got yesterday, What a buck!!! 160 yards (a short shot hunting around here), heart shot. This young man sure knows how to hunt.
