Thanks for the info, I believe I'll keep a copy for my reference. I've seen a lot of Buck slip joints I know are Chinese on eBay - but many sellers make no mention of that. I believe one was a Duece.

One quick way to know is the model number if they give it, add 7 to the middle number and it's an import.

301 (USA)
371 (China)

Etc....

How about my edc Buck Quest. Not pretty but used a lot and useful. Nice and lightweight. I don't even know it's in my pocket until I need it, which is sometimes very often. Razor sharp and one hand opener with a lockback too. I like it a lot.

Here's one you don't see very often;a model 186 Titan.I bought this one new for around $60.This is the take down model and can be fitted with a pocket clip using longer screws supplied.Also has a clear plastic sleeve to slip over the blade when removing to clean.The circular piece on the end is the wrench to take it apart.Has titanium handles.

I have quite a few other Buck knives gut this one is my favorite.

asked him if he was playing barbie knives !
i like to split a gut when he told me ...barbie bucks!!
what a hoot kids can be!

Here is one of my favorite Bucks, a 110 with a BG-42 blade.
It is so sharp that it can't shave the hair off your arm.
The reason it can't shave the hair is that the hair sees it coming and jumps off before the blade can get to them!

It is SHARP!
