That belongs to the boss and she ain't never tried it or let me for that matter. I figure it's good stuff as it's straight bourbon whiskey made by limestone distillery in Ky. They have family ties to the Beams as I understand it although they started this distillery up 2010. She loves the show Yellowstone and wanted a bottle of the bourbon.

I am mostly a beer man. But I do enjoy a good bourbon to relax after dinner.

The bottle is self explanatory. The knife is an Auxerrois Tonneau that was an SFO from the little shop in the picture with the red trim storefront.
The shop is located in Auxerre, France. A friend who lives in Paris, France sent me these pictures. I picked the knife out from the window display picture. He bought it and then sold and shipped it to me.

Thank you. Fit & finish is very good to excellent. No blade play and the action is rather tight. No problems opening the blade but closing it takes more force than I'm used to. I wish I could remember who made the SFO's. I used to know but I didn't write it down and I've forgotten who it was. I do remember that the manufacturer does sell similar knives online with carbon steel blades and a different blade shape. The stainless steel and the blade shape on mine are what makes it exclusive to the shop where it was purchased.

While I was out yesterday, I got a wild hair and picked up a jug of 9 year old Knob Creek, shown with my current favorite Case Mini-Trapper.

It was my first time trying it. There wasn’t anything about it that I didn’t like but I have other favorites that I’ll buy first.
That being said, That sample bottle was given to me and I haven’t checked the prices for Benchmark. A good price might lead me to buy a bottle in the future.
