Sadly, Double W knives failed to reply to my PM in the allotted time to claim the beautiful knife that TPK has donated and this morning I am declaring jtmorse as the winner of the October 2021 AAPK monthly giveaway knife. A PM has been sent to jtmorse who now has 3-days to reply to my PM or we move on to the next place winner. I hate it when this happens but as the giveaway coordinator I only enforced the rules and try to be a lenient as I can within the rules.

Thanks David(s) - my motto is to try and treat everyone as I would like to be treated but it still hurts to take away someone's winnings and give them to someone else. In this day of smartphones and high-technology, if I entered a time-sensitive contest where you had to claim the prize to win, I'd put a calendar reminder somewhere to remind me to check the contest results. For example, I subscribe to a weekly newspaper that is published every Wednesday morning and I have reminder on my iPhone every Wednesday at 0800hrs reminding me that a new edition of the newspaper is available. Easy peasy Japanesey!

No need to feel bad Tom, you do a fine job of organizing this event every month, on top of all your other duties. Whenever this happens I always think "it's covid", but I hope it's a simple case of forgetfulness. Thank you for your solid efforts!

I'm once again reporting that our second place winner (jtmorse) failed to claim last month's giveaway knife in the allotted time by responding to my PM and this morning, I have declared Bert as the new winner of the beautiful knife that TPK (Tom) is trying to donate. Bert's pick of 277 was 55 away from the drawn number of 332. There are 42 participants with numbers lower than Bert's so I feel confident saying that at some point, we will have a winner of last month's knife.

Double W knives Joined AAPK on August 30, 2021, had 4 posts on August 31, 2021 and then went silent. Who knows why that happens.
Bottom line, he joined then didn't come back except to sign up for the monthly giveaway.

jtmorse Joined on Oct 27, 2020 and only has one post, the day he joined asking about a knife he has, it's value and if anyone was interested in buying it. Apparently he only comes back (this is just a guess) to sign up for the monthly giveaway. Form your own opinion.

Looks like he missed out on this one.

FYI - jtmorse has participated in the monthly giveaway 6 times since joining (11/20, 12/20, 1/21, 2/21, 9/21 and 10/21) and has picked a different number each time (information all available on AAPK).
