Can someone post a picture of what the folding knife looks like inside the box, please and thank you? I have some RR fixed blades but they take up the whole box.
Here you go. I am not a photographer

Thank you, Sir! Not as oversized as I was thinking.

Here’s a couple more for size reference. Smaller box is a Kutmaster muskrat, the big one is a Rough Ryder doctor knife.

What's the knife look like inside the box, CamMan?

Here’s the Drs knife and the kutmaster:
And here’s a RR large stockman (which you can see next to the CS Kudu and bill for reference is a very large knife). The big box makes more sense for this knife than the Dr’s knife. But still, I have Remington and Camillus lock backs with leather sheaths that came in smaller boxes.

Yeah, that box size is a little over the top.

I used to believe "a chinese knife will never be worth more than you pay"...but not so sure its true anymore.
If that were true then we should start stocking up on Rough Riders, Buying 15 - 20 per week in anticipation of the great rush to come.

I don't anticipate a "great rush" with any of the knives I buy (which is mostly Camillus). Though many of them may increase in value over time, I buy them because I want them and considered them a
purchase. When I want to
invest money...it's certainly not put into pocket knives.
Anyway....I don't want to keep derailing Jerry's thread about
BOXES, so I'll dip out.

Quit buying them if you don’t like the boxes!

I am forced to buy communist Chinese/slave labor products for some things but I don't have to buy their knives. That's all.
It's the way I feel about Communist Russia and the killer dictator Putin too.
I hold no ill will towards others who do , if I liked them I'd buy them, it's not like we're boycotting communism anymore. If they make a farmers jack, I will, Lord willing.

I did not weigh in on this topic four years ago when Jerry started it. Since it is revived I will say that I dislike the large boxes because:
1) They are too big to leave lying around on my desk along with my knives
2) They are too big to store easily
3) They are so well made that I feel kind of guilty just tossing them in the garbage

I'm only familiar with these boxes for the SMKW Queen knives from China, and yes, these boxes are ridiculous - such large elaborate boxes for inexpensive knives. I seriously wonder why they do this - the boxes probably cost more than the knives do!! And the logisitcs are terrible - so much unneeded space taken up if you are a wholesaler or dealer.
