A jigged bone with Indian Trail slim utility. Saber ground blade and the bone is great on this one!

Another jigged bone, tipped bolster Schatt. Unfortunately one of the secondary blades was broken but still long enough to salvage some of it.

Am late in my comment, but your modified Pruner is a brilliant piece of workmanship.

Thank You QS!

But Muskrat Man deserves all the credit. I just provided the beat up pruner, mammoth and my ideas, he's the artist!

Yours has more blade than mine Dave, is yours a bear trap also? I forgot I even had this one, found it going through a pile of pruners I'm thinking of selling.

I REALLY like that one, Dave...looks very similar to a #51 Mini Trapper/Dogleg Jack (my personal all-time favorite Queen S&M pattern)
I realize this Hawkbill Pruner is from a later year than the time period covered in this thread (I believe this one's from 1937-1945)...and it's a Queen City not S&M, but...perhaps it's close enough (for government work).
I like the liner lock, although to be honest, it has such a bear trap snap, the lock is really unnecessary.

Gosh Dang you have some sweet old knives, Dave! I am simply and totally awestruck by your collection.
They're all amazingly beautiful, but my favorite is the stamped blade jack...I would give my eye teeth to find one like this (and that would be just my opening bid, I'm sure I'd end up giving a lot more--not necessarily teeth, but certainly something more "legal tender" if you know what I mean)
