Update-- my mother gets a complete work-up in a few weeks--blood work, mri, ct scan, cat scan, dog scan etc... Her oncologist will have a pretty clear picture after all of those tests as to whether or not her new meds are working..she has had minimal side effects from these new meds so we can be thankful for that ..if this latest treatment isn't working then the next step will be hardcore intravenous chemotherapy , if she decides she wants it .. I'm scared out of my mind right now.. any thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated by my family and myself.. thanks in advance..

We lift up Ryan, Ryan's Mom and all of his family to you. Please give them peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Please give healing to Ryan's Mom. She is your child and your servant. Please give her the healing and peace of mind she needs at this time.

Hang in there Ryan, I've been through the process with my wife and her mother.
God's word and promises with a lot of prayer from family members and folks like we
have here at AAPK are what helped me the most. You and your mom will be in my prayers.

Once again, thank you people so much for keeping my mom in your prayers.. she's still doing fine right now.. the first few weeks on her new meds she had a few side effects.. they have since passed..her oncologist is going to wait a few more months to run her through a full battery of tests because she's doing so well right now.. hopefully that means the meds are working and she's going to be ok for awhile.. I'll keep you fellow knife nuts informed when I know something else..x1,000,000
