Psalm 112, Verse 1 to 4.
1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Todays verses, most appropriate for today (laid baba to rest

).
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

All of Hebrews 12 for today.
Too much to post, here's the first 2 verses.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

..... let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Lay down what troubles you...... and the sin in your life.....
Then RUN the path that Jesus has laid down in front of you....... NOT the path that the would would want you to travel.....
Beautiful words to live by EACH DAY!
Thanks for posting Willy!!
and in the same vein.....
This verse came to my computer today.......
"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Psalm 119, Verse 114
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
John 1, Verse 12-13
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Matthew 5, Verse 14-16
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Hebrews 11, verse 1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
