I finally found a reasonably priced 1975 Kissing Crane Anglo Saxon Whittler to add to my NKCA set. The stag on this one is amazing, a very close to a perfect folder in materials and workmanship.

Next, I'll be looking for a 1990 KC Stockman, but I'm in no rush. I think it will be the last one that will fit in my Case display box. This particular bookshelf is occupied mainly by me and the kitties.

Great knife. They sold originally in 1975 to members for $12. At one point in the early 80's they were up to $400 each on the secondary market, selling faster than hotcakes. Crazy the trends that come and go.

Interesting thread. I have a few NKCA commemorative knives but don’t have them gathered up as a set. Although I was a member of the organization going back to its NKCDA origins, I didn’t buy the knives then. Those I have were acquired later. Here’s the most recent acquisition, an NKCA museum knife. Couldn’t resist the stag.
