This particular EO pattern I have two of, this one has seen more use.
Once again no nail nick on the main. Nice jigged bone handles and cut swedge......

As stated above, I have a couple of this jigged bone EO pattern.
Here is a much cleaner example, the etch is still very visible/readable.
Says, FINZER'S TOBACCO KNIFE !!
Deep cut swedge on a big leaf spear!

A small 3 1/4" Jack, all steel with Cocobolo covers I believe.

The NY stamp seems to be getting harder to come by so if the knife looks original (or minimal repairs) and has a readable stamp, I've been picking them up.

Thank You Men!
Here's a splitback equal end Gowanda Schatt . This knife has seen a lot of use and a lot of love during it's life. Brown bone that has been completely worn smooth on the mark and just barely left a little jigging pattern on the pile. This old knife has spent many a year in someones pocket! Must have been oiled regularly for the knife to still have such a strong snap. Wonder how many times this knife has been opened and closed? Was it a worry stone for someone? How many times was it passed from Father to Son? Answers only an old pocketknife can tell....

Been a while since I've contributed to this Wonderful sub-forum and almost a year to this thread!
I've got a few old worn knives to add but first this Beauty that speaks of a by gone era.
A little 2 1/2" (including the bail) engraved sterling silver vest pocket knife.
N.Y. stamp, Clip main with a French pull, the secondary is a button hook with a manicure file in it!! 8)
Just Great intricate work on this little Beauty!

A well used equal-end cigar pattern. Spear main and Pen secondary with French pulls.
Nice jigged bone, Gimp shield, Brass liners and catch bit on a single spring.

A Coke bottle pattern that really spoke to me despite it's well worn condition. Not only the N.Y. stamp but also the OVERSIZED Gimp shield ! It reminded me of Charlie's SFO "Black Jack" by GEC.
Spear main (well what's left of it) with French pull and a well worn Pen secondary. 3 1/2" closed, Ebony covers. Still has a Gator snap!!

The last of these worn to death N.Y. stamped knives for this offering is one I WISH I could have got a hold of 120 years ago when she was in her prime!
A 4" closed Premium Stockman pattern. Pearl covers, coined liners and a Federal shield.
Unfortunately a tipped Clip main ::tear:: along with a well worn Sheepfoot and Spey blade, but the Pen is still in pretty good condition!
I imagine that in her day she was the pride of her owner, sure would be mine!!

A 3 3/8" Barehead Jack with some tasty jigged bone covers, steel liners, hammered pins and another Federal shield.
