By the way, to determine the time period for the release of a particular model, you can use the table from my site -
http://www.camillusknives.ru/cats_en.shtml
Thus, I see that #15 was produced approximately from 1946 to 1957.

Not one of any pattern? None, zip, nadda? Are you serious?
Well, now that I think again maybe I do. My dad's old Army knife might
be a Camillus.
Later I will go in the car trunk and look.

I thought I had one. Surprisingly enough, I don't. I have a "14" & a "16" but no "15." I do have the printer block for advertising the "15" but that's all. Good luck with that Mike!
Skip those old printer blocks do they show the tang stamps ? And you have one for the 72 as well if memory is correct?
Always thought those to be great references and nice pieces of our knife history .
Did you ever get a 15 with factory covers ? Am on the look for one as well as some others .
Take care .

Hi JP, I'll answer your questions one by one.
Some of the print blocks have tang stamps, some do not.
Yes, I have a "72" print block.
No, I do not have a "15" pocket knife. I haven't really been looking.
Here is the link to the print blocks:

Thanks Skip. That is a great post forgot about that one . When going back there today noticed the 72 block is for the no shield . Can’t remember if we talked about that or not . But in a short the 72 no shield is harder to find .
Much appreciated
