Funny you mention that Floyd ... I've been looking at Case moose knives ever since I worked up yours & the only ones with the nail nick not too far forward which could be fashioned into a sheepsfoot would be the ones from the 70's & early 80's ... unfortunately, those ALWAYS without exception bring premium prices. I'll keep looking for an old beater with good bones that I can restore and convert to one like yours ...

Great way to bring this old thread back to life.

There sure are a lot of good looking mooses/meese/moose in this thread. I don't think I own one of the pattern, but this thread is making me consider one as my next knife.

OLDE CUTLER your "built from scratch" moose is exceptional. I really like your choice of blades and your wedging.

Variations of Queen Moose. Case Classic, Winchester, and Bulldog.

You reckon that was the individual price when the catalog was printed? Some of the catalogs showed price per dozen. At $1.75 go ahead and send me one or a dozen.

TF: Make it a gross! I bought the Catt store-case about 30 years ago. The buttons were already attached but don't know what knives went where. I just filled it on my own. Took a couple years. J.O'.

I put two broken kamp kings together as a....moose? It has two springs and two spear blades, I'm not 100% certain that it's not more of a muskrat, so my friend and I who also made one call it the Mooserat. I cut serrations in and painted the clamshell scales. Also filled in the hollow with epoxy steel stick.

Thanks buddy. Im also practicing working with antler on another small project, then I'm going to tackle that Aerial. Hope to have it done before the Badger show

Only one other in the world like it so far as I know. Until I get around to making more that is. Actually the next might be a harness jack. And then an airline safe utility with leftover can openers and awls

Thanks dude. The paint job isn't quite what i imagined it would be but it's ok. The serrations on the one were done to cover a big whammo right on the cutting edge.
