The reason I'm asking more about the Cherokee is my fourth great grandmother was a Cherokee lady named (Moonglow) 1775-1845
a place in Kentucky is called Moon Ky... named after her.... she is buried there with husband Benjamin Hamilton 1761-1845

Nice knives....Same time period as mine....really like the one with the Columbian Half Dollar...
It appears that he made one of a kind knives....It would be neat to know have many different knives are out there!
I've seen others but all were different

Awesome...A very fine collection ::tu:: ....Amazing at how many different types knives Pappy made during his lifetime!!
I've never seen any of Jules sheaths

I found a very good book ...America's Fascinating Indian Hertage by Reader Digest
this book has some great information, great pictures and easy reading
