There were quite a few bowie displays at the show. The ABKA had their annual meeting at the show this year and a few of the members had displays. If you are referring in particular to the James Bowie display, I do not remember the name of the fellow who had that. I will be posting a few more photos of bowie collections.

I only took two photos of the crowd on Saturday. It was very busy for a few hours, but thinned out by 3:30 or so. Also a photo of Dale (Orvet) and Ivoryman and one of Charlie (upnorth) and Barry (gunstock jack).

Now that you mention it I remember reading awhile back that the ABKA was also having their annual meeting at the show - Coupled to the OKCA show it must have been a great time - and I’m sure a 2 or more day venture to take on all that was there ... Pictures of some of the displays have been posted in past year's show threads. However, I think they are worthwhile being posted again this year. Here is a Remington scout knife display. Thanks for those great pics Dan ... Those 2 or 3 display cases with Will & Finck, Mike Price and others is just unreal - a really top notch collection ... It's great you had the chance to see it in person!!

Jim Pitblado has a fantastic Remington Scout collection.

He also collects Remington pocketknives.

And yes, that San Francisco Bowie display is just unreal. I'm wondering if that is not a display with knives provided by multiple collectors, given the table cloth it's sitting on.

The knives in the San Francisco display were all owned by just one collector!
Here is a display of the Bowie-Forrest knife, along with a few other bowies. This display won best of show.

Lee, it was great to see those bowies in person, almost overwhelming.
Here is a great display of folding Sheffield dirks. The owner spent over 30 years building up this collection.

Dan, nice bunch of Keen Kutters! Your focus and expertise on the brand just like Charlie’s focus and expertise on the Robeson brand is very admirable and a great example to new collectors and me Thanks for posting the other wonderful photos of the OKCA show and outstanding exhibits also

Thanks for the photos! Just makes me want to see more--like a pic of every table and every display in the place for a virtual tour. I gotta get to one of these but I'm in Jersey... oh well, someday...

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Robo, I do have photos of all the displays and will eventually post them all, if no one is getting tired of them.
Here is another bowie display which was also displayed at the two previous OKCA shows I attended.

Dan thanks for posting these great pics. When I was at the OKCA show a few years back I was very impressed with all the fine displays they had there.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing them with those of us not able to attend.
