Here it is all together. Minus the sharpening. I hand pein the pins. So they are a bit choppy looking. When peining it together I use a .007 shim between a blade and liner. When it is tight, I remove the shin and check for wobble. It usually takes several light taps to get it nice.
All blades have nice strong snap and no wobble.

I am wondering how you managed to smooth down the Delrin after you jigged it, did you sand it?

The Side I jigged was factory smooth and polished. After each jigging, I ised a nylon type brush on my Drexel slowest speed and no pressure on the jigging. This removed the hair and lightly buffed the surface.

After I was done I took it to a cloth polishing wheel on my mill. And very lightly buffed it to smooth things out. I could try polishing with Flitz by hand to get a better sheen. As this is just a beater practice knife I felt no need to do so..

ON a side note. The knife took a wicked edge. It seems to be a nice hard steel. I wish I knew who manifactured it.

I just bought my next project off of eBay a few minutes ago. This will be a serious refurb. I will be looking for direction on this project.
