I am a big GEC fan and a big Charlie C. fan but i have no Charlie C. GEC Barlow knives. They are so hot you have to live in Fast Computerland to score at initial release. Trying to get one on the secondary market is not for me. I have seen some sell for over $450. I don't want to feed the flippers.
I do have a Charlie C. #15 Rope Knife which is by far the best of these knives(Rope knives).

I'm in the same boat KJ, though I'm very new to the game. I just can't afford most of the flipped prices. Funny thought, maybe in the future we'll start to see high end routers like the Nighthawk marketed for gamers and knife buyers
I'll have to look up that Charlie C Rope knife. I bet it's really nice, I really like the rope knife. (Navy Brat)

O.K. so these are not the just released Old Musky Bone 15's but they are 15's and the Boy's Knife is a 2018 knife.
The Tidioute Navy Knife in Red Linen Micarta and Charlie C's Rope knife are both from 2015.
I am posting these in response to: "I'll have to look up that Charlie C Rope knife. I bet it's really nice, I really like the rope knife. (Navy Brat)"
Notice the Charlie C. knife just 'pops',even though the Red Linen Micarta is also a very attractive knife in there for comparison.

I agree wholeheartedly on that assessment. The small touches on the sfo amount to a massive gain. The bone in particular is outstanding in every way.
