Give the Primitive bone scales a generous wipe down with '3 in 1 oil', especially in and around stress lines, leave for an hour or so and wipe off. Carry for a week or so in a trouser pocket where the the warmth of the leg will color the bone so beautifully you'll be amazed! Bill Horn recomends an occassional wipe down with '3 in 1' as ongoing care for Primitive Bone

marcinek that's ok that you miss read a knife we all do at times too.

I think it might be the heat you are having in the windy city...

Just go to the Lake and jump in that will kool you off....

I think it was a matter of me being over-excited about a new GEC pattern!

I think the "Queen Cutlery" etched on the blade probably would have made reading the knife easy, even for me.

I'm sure things aren't very comfortable down in Bloomington either...spent 4 years in Champaign...worst weather on the planet...hellish summers...frigid winters....rain all spring.

Fall was OK.

Oh...E Coli is pretty high at Chicago's beaches right now...blech!
