Here is a Schrade Walden 804 wedged spring whittler for Sears. The etch is clear but it does not show well in my flat-bed scanner. Sears #9488.

Maybe that last cattle knife was a Camillus instead of an Ulster. This one is Camillus fer sher.

Michael XXXXXX, 13 March 2012: “The Craftsman name on Sears knives did not appear until after 1940, when Baer bought Ulster. He, along with Col. Tom Dunlap, was first to use that tool name as a knife branding. It (the knife here in question) looks like the #9482 seen in my 1943 Sears Fall/Winter catalog. It listed for 89 cents. It is also listed in 1944, but not in 1948.”

High Carbon Steel -- Sta-Sharp made for Sears
And a couple of Made In USA
I don't think this Sta-Sharp is mine. Sorry, I can't remember. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know.

Now I've had several folks say Winchester made this but I believe it's Utica and maybe even a Kutmaster, it's the same as the bone handle knives they made in the 50's and 60's. I've never seen a Utica or Kut with stag so I'm still in a state of confusion...

I couldn't resist. The fixed blade is rare and the provenance unsure. Some of us think Imperial. The fish knife is Ulster.

This one is a Schrade 165 with hidden tang. Not common. Genuine elephant-hide sheath.

Joe. That's a mighty fine Camillus #80 clone you have there. (top pictures) So far, I haven't seen one of those with a pattern number stamped on the pile side of the main. Is yours blank too?
