The knife was definitely made on contract by Miller Bros. Albert & Meyer was a hardware wholesale company in Baltimore. They never made their own knives. There's no evidence of a center pin, but I suppose it could be hidden by the scales.

Here is a H&B stag whittler made before 1912. I wanted to know if some of the more informed, than myself
thinks it is older than 1900? Knife looks a little better in hand.

Just got this one. I really liked the look of it, and the bonus is it is old enough to post in this thread. Naugatuck Cutlery Co. - Goins says 1872 to 1888 for the curved stamp.

Wards B4Any pearl congress.
Barneria(French and possibly 18th century.The mark goes back to the 1600's).
Charles Congreave quill knife circa 1840.
Edward Barnes lockback folding dirk.
G & J Allen wharncliffe and an unmarked whittler of the same era.
George Woodhead jack and a Jonathan Crookes gunstock.
George Woodhead pruner.Woodhead was mostly known for his fine bowies;pocket knives are extremely rare by him.

A few more:
GH Exhibition pruner.
Greaves folding dirk.
HW Mason 8 blade congress.
I*XL Celebrated Cutlery folding dirk.
I*XL ivory quill knife and ivory whittler dated 1870.
I*XL lockback.
John Copley cast steel pruner
R.Bunting 2 blade congress circa 1840.
Joseph Rodgers ivory scaled scissors with a 1" blade in each handle.
Unwin & Rogers ivory scaled knife with a mechanical pencil.

Last ones:
W.Drummond Obtain Warranted pruner circa 1860.
W.H.Morley multi-blade(14 blades if I recall correctly).
Wragg folder.Not sure if this is pre-1900 but that is what I was told.

Great bits of history being shown here. I got one, that according to Jim Parker back in the year 2000, is pre 1900. The pics are not real good.
