I realize in some circles showing perceived disrespect to the great American Classic 110 is considered sacrilege and blasphemy but it just doesn't get my juices flowing. I'm much more up for a Sirus, Impulse or a Spitfire. Doesn't mean I'll throw the 110 away, give it away or sell it but it won't be the pride of my pile. Sorry fellers.

I believe you. I've done the same thing with other brands/patterns.

Bass Pro Shops has 50th anniversary Buck 110's on sale for $25.00 until October 19 while supplies last. Got myself one. Actually the first Buck knife I ever had. Comes with a nylon sheath, not leather.

I carried ,and used, every day, a 110 while I was in the Navy ( a snipe in the engine room) I bought mine in 1968 and have had one ever since. I bought a 50 th 110 at Meijers, mine was $44.95 but well worth it. ftd

garddogg! I was on a Gearing class destroyer 700 and up hull numbers, later on I was on the U.S.S, Lockwood F.F 1064 I stood watch in the engine room, it only had 1, but sorry I have no pictures. A snipe is a name that all engineers , MM's, BT's and all types of hull rates are referred to, above the decks are usually called deckapes. ftd

Came across a Buck 110 50th Anniversary last week in a local gunshop. The gunshops around here stock Buck products packed in boxes (with the leather sheath, in lieu of the nylon sheath in the blister package the chain stores have). This one was packed on 1-2-14. OH

Santa brought me one, my first 110, boxed like OH's above. The fit and finish on this is real nice. No wonder Buck has done so well with this lockback for so long.
