An easy rule of thumb is...any knife tang stamped Great Eastern will be 440C. The other tang stamps, Tidioute and Northfield will be 1095.

Thank you, well ::doh:: on me. I have the whole set here and know it, yet couldn't pull that info out. That's what happens when you're a property manager and the owners get more concerned with 100% occupancy rate than some of the people they choose, over my objections I might add. Speed freaks should know better than to live next to a manger, after last night they are under a police watch. ::tired:: Yes. Im tired of the night people on speed. ::tired:: Sorry, went off track, But yes that is some great information. I hear that there may be some stockman, whittlers, and Barlows, my favorite on the menu. ::ds::
