No fainting. I know about the clot and stroke possibilities. In addition to the prescription medicine, I take a coated aspirin daily.

For me, it kinda feels like a preasure that builds up between the base of my skull and the back of my eyeballs. I can feel my heart pumping hard and fast and then I start to feel a little disoriented and dizzy. Totally at random, i've had it do it while I was working and other times when I was just sitting on the couch watchin' TV. It even happened once when I was driving, that bothered me worse then any other time. If something happens to me, that's one thing. But, I dang sure don't want to cause a wreck and get someone else hurt. The beta blockers really have helped, they just don't seem to have it completely under control yet. One thing's for sure, it's definetly brought me in touch with my mortality, I used to be invinsible! :D

I take a beta blocker, Corgard, for mitral valve prolapse. Once the dosage was regulated (40mg/day), it took care of everything.
