Somehow this feels really weird or should I say surreal. It almost feels dishonest since I put this thing together but dammit, I was the first one to pick a number and ya can't fix the Illinois Lottery. If I could, I'd be typing this from somewhere warm like Florida or Hawaii. Right now I'll settle for winning the January giveaway.

Thank you one and all. I sat here for an hour last night looking at the numbers picked and the numbers drawn, trying to figure out what I missed. It was just so surreal, I couldn't wrap my mind around it. I couldn't possibly have won and I was sure there was something I was missing.

I'll never be able to thank Trevor enough for his generosity and this fine knife.
