Jerry, I'm usually not that big on scout knives but that Dasco is something else! I really like the swedge on the spear and the bone too.

When I was growing up, the local hardware carried Belknap products including John Primble knives. They also sold Schrade knives and Case knives. Back then my focus was mostly on the Case products although I do recall having a "Primble" or two somewhere along the way.

Jack Knife Ben only had one store but he sold alot of knives at Union Stock Yards in Chicago.

This Camillus "886UH" was sold only by one of the big Department Stores.
It looks like the Schrade "885UH". Note the Old "S.C.C." tang stamp on the 886UH...Ken

How about two Craftsman 9488 knives? They're flat ground clip versions of the schrade 804.

Here are three that I have:

Bingham Hardware
Fletcher Hardware Detroit MI
HSB fixed blade.

What about two Wards stockman knives? The lighter, green one is post war 40's Camillus. The darker one Pete Cohen tells me is late 20's-early 30's Camillus though some have claimed its Winchester. I just know I like it! Both are 4 inches.

Here's my last one and the best of the bunch. It's marked White House, made by Case, in the 20's I think, for Weaver McWhorter Hardware in Nashville, TN.

This one is dead mint.
