Hey Paladin, that good lookin' Eye Brand you got there was called a "waidmesser" or gamekeeper. I have one that was made by Puma (pre 1964). Really cool knives.

Norwegian Arne Haugrud with pewter sheath and vintage Iisakki Järvenpä from Finland.

Never been one much for imported FB's prefering more domestic types like Bark Rivers, Beckers, Rangers, and the like. But, I have developed a fondness for Helle's.....



Superb knives. I tried a Mora and wasn't all that impressed, but I also got a Marttiini and I am really liking those as well.......

Nice Helles. The Moras are a decent knife for what they cost but not in the same league with Helle.

BTW if you know of or have an extra scabbard for that 6334 Frogmesser I'm looking for one.

Correction---My Puma Displays are circa 1972. This represents all patterns imported by Bruckmann in 1972.

This is a Wostenholm hunting knife or 'Cowboy Bowie; circa early 1900s.

Imported by Gutmann not Bruckmann. Maybe I'll get it right someday.

Here's some of my German Pumas. The fixed blades are a '71 White Hunter, a recent Original Bowie, a 1993 Hunter's Pal and a new Python. Their stag is pretty nice and they are well-made knives with durable sheaths and good metal. I'm a fan!
