I want to talk about fixed blades here myself. I say we do so in the general knife discussion forum. If someone complains about it, maybe we'll just rename the site... ::tu::Bryan
Hi Bryan,

I think the site is most approriately named. I would like to see main focus remain on folders. I think that is what distinguishes this site from a number of other more general knife sites*. However, I support a new specialty category for fixed blade knives.

*The real difference between this site and the others I have visited is the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the members.

I agree with s-k, the site is apropriately named and just needs to address the fixed blade category. My other brother Darrell says that fixed blades for the military need to be addressed, a militaria forum where knives, trench knives, and bayonets get their due respect. The knives and such that our Veterans used deserve a place of their own since they are highly collectable and a part of our history.

You made the right decision about the name.
There are more pocket knife collectors out here and they will find this site. I bet just about everyone one of them have an old butcher, military or hunting knife that may need info on or just to show.

Next thing you know somebody will be wantin' a Straight Razor Forum
