Don's work is some of the best I have saw.I'm sure anyone "including me"would love to own one of his works.I do a little whittling, and I have a good idea of how much time and work that it takes to git a peace like that..I sure would like to have a chance to buy one of his pieces also.Don is the man win it comes to carving.

I was reading the "whittler" thread and Carvin Don came to mind so I thought I would pull up this old thread so some of the newer members could see our beloved fellow members work, he is awesome!!!

Well daggone I have learned something new today. I always thought whittling was sitting around cutting on a stick. Out of curiosity I decided to venture into a different area of AAPK to take a look around and look what I found.

I have never seen more impressive work and am at awe of such quality craftsmanship. Anyone would be proud to own such a fine piece of art.

I know Willem guides for big game hunts and that keeps him pretty certain times of the year.
