Monk, what can I say...THANK YOU!!! ::ds:: ::ds:: ::ds::
I even had a ruler last night to kinda guessing sizes, and after looking at your pic now I know I'm suck at guessing  . those pics really help, A LOT!! ::tu:: ::tu:: . I would like to know your opinion on the #66 too, please.
and guys, I'm guessing the #62 have 1 spring and the #66 have 2 spring ?

thanks again, you guys are the best ::tu:: ::tu::[/quote]

Hey Fallah______the #66 pattern is going to be the ""closer replacement size"" to the #33 Conductor,( if you are going to a different pattern ???)___they have sveral different blade combos, and the more blades, the thicker the frame *****_____the #33,@ 3 3/8" and the #66 @ 3 1/2"__ won't be much differnce in length_________both knives are just ""to small for me""_______I prefer 3 5/8" to 4 1/4" with my #73 at the perfect size ::nod:: ----when I was EDC'ing a Case knife for many years, the #6318 Stockman (3 1/2 inch) and the #5332 Stockman (3 5/8)were two of my favorites !!!!!!!! and if I wanted to carry a bigger knife,it was always, the #5347 Stockman (3 7/8 inch) or #6392 Stockman ( 4 inch )____so,for many years,I was carrying a three blade stockman (100% of the time ) ::shrug:: ____maybe why,I am so fond of the GEC #73 Scout pattern now ???? ____I don't see any reason, you would be disappointed in the #66 Calf Roper stockman,at all___ if you want to stay with two blades, don't forget the #66 Mink Skinner, from 2010 !!!! almost the twin to the conductor, with thicker frame & blades ****____I will say this**** if you decide to go with the #62 pattern ???, I (myself) ,would go with the Courthouse Whittler, rather than the Easy Pocket""half"" Congress, just to have the extra blade ::nod:: _good luck, with your choice !!!!!,Monk ::tu::

PS________Remember******,you said, you lost your favorite knife?? ::hmm:: ___you can always get another #33 Conductor,if ya' want ???? ::shrug::

Monk great pics as usual. I don't wish to derail this thread, but I'd love to see comparision pics of a 53 stockman and a 53 cattle rancher and or a 66 calf roper. I've only one 53 stockman, but it appears the sheepsfoot sits a bit lower in the frame vs the other two I mentioned. Thanks.

Cooter, Thank you
I agree about good selection of practical blade shapes on the stockman, glad to know that you think it is a great EDC knife. love that Indian Choffee bone jigging ::tu:: . pretty knife ::drool::

Trevor, thank you for the pic comparison with #65 ::tu::
I understand your not carrying your #66, I'm glad it's not because design problems.

Monk,
I have a very limited "knife budget" so to speak, yet i would really like to explore any other GEC pattern I haven't try, so as much as I like the #33, I decided to try another pattern instead. btw, that Bullwinkle J. Moose is stunning ::drool:: ::tu::

well gents, thank you very much for your inputs, I do appreciate it, whatever it turn out, I will let you guys know how it goes in couple of weeks after I get the replacement knife, ::tu:: ::nod::

best,
