TSA Knives listed the #33 Northfield Conductors tonight and about 1/2 of them are already gone.
There is/was a smooth buffalo horn that I would have liked to have owned but I was too late.
Apparently the bails are a big hit.

I didn't even know that they were going to make a buffalo horn.
I can't find it on GEC's website.
The bail would, imo, look best on the horn or the stag knives.

I have some powder dry in the event I get a shot at a gen. stag.

I'm surprised they're so jet black. Most buff horn I've seen seems to have white streaks in it.

water buffalo horn naturally has white streaks running through it - solid black ones have to be sought out.
it also comes in a translucent cream color (from white water buffalo) that can be burned with lye to resemble tortoiseshell.

Looks like the Buffalo Horn was an afterthought,less than a dozen made possibly???

I believe the Buffalo Horn was slated since it was on Greg's Blog as new product updates showing 10 as the production number.

How does the buff horn hold up to pocket carry. Durable stuff, I'd assume? I don't desire one to put on a shelf to admire. Anyone have a bad experience with horn? Splitting, cracking, shrinking, or otherwise acting unbecoming of a handle material?

I think probably buffalo horn wasn't on the long term schedule; but as they saw they were going to need to shift some numbers around they found some horn that would work. I find it much harder to find horn with white streaks than the pitch black when I buy in bulk.
