Thanks guys for all the prayers!

Just a quick update-
My wife & I just got back from vacation.
Friday we drove to Mt Vernon, WA to see Paul.
I know you guys across America were praying for him as were people in another (non-knife) forum my daughter is in. There were actually people around the world praying.
All the prayers have really worked! God has worked a miracle, indeed, is still working the miracle!
Friday when I saw him in the evening, he was very coherent and talking and joking. We were even planning a fishing trip!
A couple days ago his dad called me. He said he was back to his old self & had even been out of bed and standing!

He is doing very well for a man about whom the Neurologist had said barely one week ago, “He will never wake up. There is too much brain damage.”

Praise the Lord, He does answer prayers! His brain is fine and from all we can tell, he is doing better than he was before, in some regards.

It is a rare privilege to witness a true miracle and that is precisely what we have all seen here! God “…is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Ephesians 3:20

Praise Report

Too often we do not know the results of the prayers that we send out for people.
That does not mean our prayers are not effective, they are; but sometimes it is nice to know the extent of what God does.

Paul's heart attack was a little over 3 months ago.
There have been minor setbacks in his recovery, but God has seen him through them, and he is doing very well. I have talked to him on the phone several times recently and I have never heard him sound better!

In all the years I have known him, he always seemed to have an edge of depression to his countenance. I have always attributed that to the fact that he was in constant pain and that he was not expected to live beyond the age of 30 due to his giantism, (he is 56 now). Since God healed him, I no longer hear that edge of depression in his voice or in his countenance! Praise the Lord for that!

At the time when he had the heart attack he had been suffering with migraine headaches for months. The new migraine meds would give at most, few hours or maybe a day or two of relief from the migraines. Since God healed him, he has not had any headaches! Praise the Lord again!

He was physically very weak from the weeks in bed in the hospital and the nursing home afterwards, but his strength is returning. He has been back home for some time and is even driving to the doctor office and to run errands. He has a few more doctor appointments in the next two weeks, but is planning to drive down to my place the second week in September (275 miles one way) for a visit and some fishing! It is a miracle especially considering that three months ago his doctor declared him brain dead! God is SO GOOD!

I just wanted to let you guys know how well he was doing and what amazing results your prayers had! It is mind blowing and life changing to see God perform a miracle before your eyes! Not only has Paul been healed, but God has used this miracle to touch the lives of people within his family (his dad & brother in particular - at least two more miracle stories right there), but also to touch people outside of his family as well.
Praise the Lord!!!

Thanks again for your prayers.
God bless all of you,
Dale
