Here are some group pictures of them & I'll post some pictures of the individuell knives in the appropriate threads today or tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

1) 1980 Case A6235 1/2 Jack Knife (A.K.A. Regular Jack, Swell end Jack or Teardrop Jack) This is my first Case with an 80's stamp & my first #35 pattern. I really like this pattern & the scales are breathtaking.

2) Queen etched "Queen Steel #22" with enclosed springs. This is my first ever Quenn knife and my first knife with enclosed springs. Very light weight also.

3) Last but not least, a Purina Kutmaster Utica NY. USA that is already in my front right pocket.
I have a Special place in my heart for Purina knives.

Being a part of this forum is a real Blessing to me! It's great to know all of you wonderful people with your hearts in the right place!

About a year & a half ago my mom told me that her dad carried a Purina as his EDC. I had no idea what they looked like so I Googled it and I liked how it looked. The rest is history & you guys are stuck with me now. Sorry! That's why they have a Special spot in my knifer's heart.

IMO, If your dad had one you should get yourself one.

I did a little sleuthing here on the sight. The package originated in Portsmouth, NH, the address only 8 miles from where I used to live in Dover, NH. Believe it or not, I found a clue from "doglegg" Floyd of Texas, that leads me to believe the bomber was glennbad. Pease Air Force Base (former home to the 509th Bomb Wing, how appropriate) there in Portsmouth was active at the time I graduated from Dover High in 1980, so I'm sure AF items are quite easy to find, if the bomber didn't carry this himself.

I'm just getting caught up on this thread. I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you, Steve. Although I do live in NH, and am former USAF myself, I am NOT the bomber. I would hate to think someone else's fine generosity got attributed to the wrong giver.
