I know it is not a 72 but an 863. A Herman Williams red bone stag handled 863 to be exact. Mr. Williams was kind enough to confirm that it was his work. Thrilled to own another one of his knives.

Once again Tommy, that would be me and I am eternally thankful for your unselfish generosity.
The LR-6, I don't know. That one didn't come to me. I'm pretty sure I got that one on eBay.

On the Camillus 72 we know there are brothers (various models from Camillus, short line, long line etc) that there are some cousins, schrade 863, ulster 63 and the like. Could we consider these two 2nd or 3rd cousins? Maybe the 77 would be considered more of a little brother. But the Western S-6504 I recently got is not the same frame but is
the same blade configuration. It definitely has 72 influence so maybe a 3rd cousin. Do you know of any others that are not the same frame but use the same blade lay out?

Thanks Grant, the plain black bone handle is one I'm lookin for now. I've heard it is difficult to find. Also would love to find one of the 80 model. But if you have all a lot of the fun is over. Thanks.

I have been fortunate to acquire several 72's and clones the last month or so. I'll give a group shot. They are an Ole Smoky, a Yello Jaket with Bee shield, a 1992 Coca Cola, a white BSA 1047, a Rigid RG70, a Schrade 863, and a yellow handled one. Thanks for looking.
