I picked this one up over the weekend. Just now getting around to posting it. Mainly because the tip had been broken off the Main clip blade and I wanted to work that before I posted it. It is a Craftsman 9524 two blade serpentine Pen knife. 2-3/4" closed, It has Stainless Steel Blades, It has the Craftsman shield with the crown border, and jigged Delrin handles. It has great snap on both blades with no wobble. A great little addition to my Craftsman family and into my EDC rotation from time to time. I didn't really have to do any cleaning, just re-tip the Clip Blade, and sharpen it .

Very nice Smitty. I remember my Dad and all of his tools. If it didn't say "Craftsman" on, it wasn't what he wanted. And I'm pretty sure he carried a Craftsman Stockman knife at some point.

I got this one yesterday. This should be fun once I find the scales I want to put on it in a large enough size.
I won't need to sharpen it, that sucker is already hair split'en sharp.

Thanks David. Yeah, I myself have invested in a lot of Craftsman Tools. Used to be a good bet. If one broke or wore out, you just took it back and swapped it for a new one. They would last for years and were proudly made in the U.S.A. But now, with a lot of the Sears stores gone, and a lot of the newer Craftsman tools you find at the not tall big box Home Improvement store being made outside of the U.S.A. I hate for any of them to wear out now.

Here is another Robeson by Queen. My second sawcut bone. I like these RCC knives as well as any barlow I own. Queen did an incredible job on these.
Beautiful Barlow my friend!

Thanks Ivoryman, Smitty and Tom.
I like that Craftsman. You did a great job on the tip. When will people learn not to use a knife like a screwdriver?

David, Your knife kit is providing you with a pattern which is very similar to a design Bob Lum provided to Spyderco. He used micarta but it will be interesting to see what you choose.

Thank you Tom, I have 3 fixed blades I need to make handles for. I may even get a little creative this next time and use spacers or inlays on them, haven't decided yet.

Thank you Garry, I haven't decided yet. I have some beautiful Ironwood to use on one of the 3 fixed blades I'm working on. I'm also trying to finish my next book. Just not enough hours in the day.
