Glad to see your buddy back, BH!
The end of each day, usually brings 5 or 6 Doves just before sundown. Here is a pic of 3 of them. They are then followed by 15-20 Cardinals, and a few W T Sparrows that arrive when the sun begins to dip below the horizon. The last visitors each day, are also the first the following morning, arriving before sunup.

Ike I get a bunch of doves, they come early and stay late. I feed them cracked corn
, they seem to really like it.

Ike I am stunned when you speak of 15 to 20 Cardinals. I am pleased when I see 2 to 4.

As am I. I've only seen a male and female pair. I know they're pretty territorial, keeping other couples away.

Sarge, cardinals don't seem to be all that territorial around here except at nesting times. They have little squabbles around my feeders but mostly they tolerate each other, it's kinda funny the males fuss with the females more than males against males. I'm surprised that you guys don't have more I wouldn't be afraid to bet that I've got 20 to 30 that come daily and probably that many jays, they do favor black oil sunflower seed.

I surprised some Turkeys this morning, they surprised me by allowing a couple of pics before they moved on.

The dang turkeys have abandoned me ain't seen one around my place in a couple of months. They've done this before I think they change their routine from time to time.had a flicker on the suet a few minutes ago but he flew before I could fetch my phone.

Nice shots Homer, Ike, beautiful, you guys are nailing it.
Not as good of a shot but this little Nuthatch was watching me fill the feeder and waiting his turn. Sometimes they zoom in and sit about arms length away from me. They are not scared of me or the other bigger birds at all.

Big H them Cardinals in that one pic
. Never seen so many in one shot like that .
Ike. We have Dove pretty regular as well . They come in like at Big H Homestead just before Sunrise , sometimes by a dozen or more at a time .
I. Man That’s cool about the Nuthatch and them feeling safe enough to stay close. Then again ,food has something to do with it
They know when fresh food is out here ,it’s not but a few minutes after getting indoors this morning and they started showing back up . Here’s a pic from this morning .Only seen a couple pair of Cardinals and a few Crows lately .
Stay warm and hunker down if in the path of some of these Storms .

Finally have some snow cover, the dang sparrows are still hogging the feeder. Did see a pair of juncos slip in for a snack. Spied a nuthatch in the nearby tree so hoping for more.

It's been a busy morning at the feeder, the sparrows of course, juncos, chickadees, house finch, Mrs. cardinal, Mr. stopped by too but I didn't manage to catch a pictures of him.

Nuthatches and downys will come to the suet feeders while I'm trying to fill them, sometimes a hairy will, but the redbellies will land higher on the pole and fuss at me till I get through and leave.

Bingo Homer, love the downys too. They don't come to the feeder for me, but the nuthatch will. If I miss a day and let the feeders get empty, I can stand by the feeder and put some in my hand and the impatient nuthatch will land on my fingers and take seed from my hand. Mean talons on them too. Cool birds.
