I just bought this catalog for less than $12 total. It is from the 1955-1956 time span. It has 15 pages of cutlery. It started it's trek to me from Abilene, Texas, around 64-65 years ago.

I just picked up this knife for best offer. It is a CAMILLUS 1047, federal style shield, 3 blade, scouting "whittler" pocket knife. Physically, it looks good. Cosmetically, it looks like it could use a light cleaning. When I get it, I'll check it out.
Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).
I also just obtained this scout style, utensil kit for best offer. I normally don't bid on or buy these kits, unless there's a knife I need. I'm not sure about the date(s) on the knife and fork. This is NOT meant in a nasty way, here is the seller's description.
"Here We Have A Vintage Pouch Made from Pigskin Chow Kit With Wire Frame Folding Fork, Knife And Simpson Nickel Silver Spoon. Have Seen Several of These Wire Frame Knives Most Are Marked Geo. Schrade These Are Only Marked With A Patent Date Of (Very Hard To Read So Guessing A Little Bit) 3-31-35 .Utensils Are All In Good Condition Could Use A Good Cleaning And Polish If So Desired And Pouch Is Dry Needs Oil. Please Let Our Pictures Be The Best Description Of This Item. Please Continue To Visit Our Listings And Please Remember We Always Combine Shipping. If You Have Questions On This Or Any Of Our Items Please Ask."
I don't think I've ever seen ANY of these types of knives, I don't know about the forks, stamped with a 1935 patent date. The tang stamp on the knife looks like one that I don't have. I can't wait to get this utensil kit!

I just obtained this knife for best offer. It's a CAMILLUS, 3 blade, scout pocket knife with bail. It is the "75th ANNIVERSARY - BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - 1910-1985 pocket knife. It looks like it's in EXCELLENT condition and won't need any cleaning. I'll look it over when I receive it, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

Today I acquired this knife for best offer. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, ducks etched on blade, "whittler" pocket knife. This is my second one of this particular "72" variation, my first with the packaging and paperwork. I believe it to be in better condition than it looks in the pictures. When I receive it, I'll check it over. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

Well, I have another B&T coming in. Like I really needed another one.
This one MAY be a rare WW2-era CIVILIAN market production, as B&Ts were not really GI knives. In addition to appearing having a steel guard, it MAY have steel spacers as well. The spacers seem to have rust on them. The seller did not get back to me before the auction ended so I took a chance and got it. Not expensive, less than $30 with shipping and tax.
More later when I get it in hand and find out what the spacers are made of.

I just bought these two knives for best offer. First up and the first four pictures are of this unbranded knife. It is stamped ROSTFREI on the tang (I know what it means). It's a single blade, 4 tools, "deer head" handle, scouting/camping style pocket knife. This will fit in nicely in the zoo. Due to the lack of pictures, I can't tell what condition it is actually in. From what I can see, it looks like it's in pretty good condition. When I receive it, I'll check it out. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s). Next up and the last two pictures are of a CAMILLUS, 3 blade, main blade etched, stockman, "YELLO-JAKET" pocket knife. It has the bee shield. It looks good and I'll check it out when I get it. I will take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

Yes I do Floyd. This will be my first bee shield. I'm always on the lookout for the "72" variation and I will get one.

So we lost one of our Opinels, we've started using them for our paring knives almost exclusively. They just feel great in the hand and are larger handled and good for/ in our old arthritic hands. The boss said the best way to find something lost is to buy another, ( something that was discussed here recently by the way), anyway I, after a couple of weeks, looked for one on the bay yestiddy afternoon, found one for 18 bucks or best offer, dickered with them a bit and got it for 12, fast and free shipping. I ain't hardly got off the PC and sweet thang hollars out I found the knife, ( it was under her recliner)I says it figures I just bought another one.

This morning I obtained these two items for best offer (less than $12). The "title" of the ad made it sound like both items were made in Mexico. I contacted the seller a few days ago and asked if the knife was made in Mexico. The seller replied that ALL the information was posted in the ad. Here is the "title" of the ad.
"Vintage Multi Pocketknife & Leather Holster Brown Belt Pouch MADE IN MEXICO."
I know the sheath is made in Mexico, but the knife is a mystery.
Here is the item description.
"ESTATE FIND
Pocketknife & Holster
Please use the "ASK SELLER A QUESTION" link if you have any questions or concerns."
I sent the seller the same question about the knife being made in Mexico, this time I received NO reply.
So, pictured below are the items. I have a tiny amount of hope that the knife was made in Mexico. Maybe one of the Imperial or Colonial, Mexico knives. I'm not even sure about the number of blades/tools that the knife has. There was another picture of the sheath, but that's it for pictures of the knife. Hopefully it's not made in Pakistan or China. When I receive it, I'll know for sure. That is, if the knife is branded. I would love to add the knife to my "South Of The Border" collection. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I bought a knife last night. I don't want to post any pictures until I receive it and clean it up a bit. As a teaser, I've posted a picture of "a" tang stamp that is on it.
