Not too wild, but....
Not too wild normally, but....just a bit more wild today
Killer shot, getting wild life to cooperate for photos is dang hard to do. You nailed it. Sweet shot, wow is that a beast. Don't know where you live but my wife wouldn't go near the whole state if she knew those things lived out there. Good one GSP.

Wow that's big. Are they poisonous? If looks could kill. Great shots again, have to remember that if ever we get to Arizona. Thanks.

Ya know Ike..I stopped to take a break and wait for the wife
John
So......you can't be hittin' on all cylinders with all that you have been thru, your wife picks a rocky trail to walk, and you still gotta stop and wait for her? You crack me up, John! Glad you are back out there!
Thanks Ike!! Sorry I somehow missed your post. I think you may have a point there!!

Tarantulas are not poisonous and a typical American tarantula has two lines of defense. It can use its fangs to inflict a bite, or it can use its barbed abdominal hairs to cause soft tissue or eye irritation. When I was kid the trick was to keep you hand as flat as possible and let it crawl over your hand...

the idea being it could not bit straight down
