LA, I have had a few of those over the years and thatβs one of my favorites. Itβs such a sturdy well made knife and very practical. One of the few Bulldogs made in Seki Japan.Loose Arrow wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 7:49 pmHappy Mail-day!

Appreciate the info. Yes, it is surprisingly sturdy for such a small piece, very sharp!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 9:46 pmLA, I have had a few of those over the years and thatβs one of my favorites. Got the Prince Albert tin and knives today from Sweetwater knives, theyβre just as Ray described. His service was excellent and mailed promptly.
Will clean them up a little ,oil them ,and maybe build a case for them.
Thanks buddy!Papa Bones wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 11:41 pmThat's a beauty Ryan.![]()

Very desirable knife Cudgee!cudgee wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 7:37 pm This is another A.Wright spearpoint boys/jack knife that i recently received. Have given it a good clean which is my standard practice and to my surprise there was a little hidden gem, some color. When it arrived was the normal grey and plain A.Wright stag scales that you see in posts or photos, but under all the grey metal dust there is a light golden hew color lurking, i am very happy with the color that has been revealed. I normally like thinner scales, but these have a thicker end of the scales angling in to be thinner at the bolsters, feels really comfortable in the hand and will be a sturdy work knife. Thanks for looking.![]()

Love that New GrindPapa Bones wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 11:52 pm Finally received these in the mail,
The first one is a 1984 Case 6249 Copperhead. The bone is what snagged me on this one. Plus it has the new grind blades
Good looking fixed blade Ryan. Handles look awesome.
I can see why the bone grabbed you.Papa Bones wrote: βMon Jan 04, 2021 11:52 pm Finally received these in the mail,
The first one is a 1984 Case 6249 Copperhead. The bone is what snagged me on this one. Plus it has the new grind blades, like new and has never been on a stone. I picked this one up from Knifeaholic. He done me good on this one. Very proud to add it to my Case collection, plus I have a soft spot for Copperheads.

Next I added this one to my Shcrade collection. A Schrade Cope single blade. Never used, blades have not been on a stone, and beautiful snap. Basically a different variation of the Schrade 12OT. These were only issued 1992-94.

You know it. It snagged me like a sawbriar and hung on tight until I ordered it.
Thank you Floyd.
