That grown dog looks like some of the squirrel dogs around here. Bring him over and we’ll run him with pepper and Sally.

Believe it or not, Colonel, she comes when you whistle and greets me at the door every day when I come home from work. She also likes her belly rubbed.

That would be fun! Jake is a Jack Russel / Boston Terrier mix.

He could very well do it! Some of the best rabbit dogs we have ever had were 1/4-1/2 Jack Russell and beagle crossed.

Growing up we always had a few barn cats. We also had a 1/2 Australian Shepherd, 1/2 Cocker Spaniel that was the best dog ever. That dog didn’t hurt the cats at all, but she LOVED to see them run, lol. It was her life’s mission to torment those cats, and everyone else on the place, except for one cat.

That cat was an old calico momma cat that I swear had a littler of kittens every two weeks. That old cat thought she was a dog. When the dog would lay down in the drive way (because evidently rocks were more comfortable than grass, lol) that old momma cat would lay down on the dog! They were quite a pair.

Our cat Pepsi opens our house & basement doors all the time. Like 10-X a day. Not a big deal in the summer time but in winter months we have to lock the doors or heat the whole neighborhood. He even opens the door if one of our other two cats want in or out of the house. He won't come if you whistle but he'll run off if you yell "PEPSI!!!"
